Hello Readers!
Recently, the editorial team met to discuss which wonderful entries would take their place in this edition of 'Edge'.
It was pretty tough, as we received some really talented pieces, but unfortunately we can only put so many words into any one magazine!
Therefore, we've come up with some ideas to allow for even more opportunity for writers who send their work to us to become published - after all we're dedicated to finding talent within the student writing community!
We want to give everyone a chance, therefore if you've entered a piece of writing to us, and it doesn't get published in the upcoming edition of 'Edge', it'll simply be because we're saving it for next time!
We have a whole pile of work which is just waiting to be published in the next hard copy edition of 'Edge', and also, as well as all the work that makes it into the magazine, other pieces will be exclusively published on-line, in case of size issues or lack of room etc.
We don't want any of our writers to feel disgruntled if their piece hasn't made it into this edition of 'Edge', as our aim is to publish as much talent as we can and to help you guys get the acknowledgement you deserve. Therefore, this blog, as well as the pieces we save for next time, all ensure a fair, as well as more opportunistic publishing process.
